Professionals is increasing. After successful completion of Diploma in
Computer Engineering, a candidate can seek jobs in Computer Hardware
Industry, Computer Service Industry, Consultancy Services, Software
Development Industries, Web Designing and publishing. Electronics &
Communication Industries, Networking and maintenance industries etc. He on
obtaining a first class can qualify to enter into the second year of doing
degree in engineering.
Eligibility:-
A candidate should have passed Secondary School Certificate
Examination (Std X) or any other equivalent examination with at least 50%
marks in aggregate in one and the same sitting.
Course Duration :-
The duration of course is three years.

seats.
Course Content :-
The course has been designed in such a manner that the
student gains insight into the Computer Engineering which is a perfect blend
of Software and Computer Hardware. Subjects like Electronic Devices and
Circuits, Digital Technique, Peripheral and Interfacing, Microprocessor and
Programming covers adequate practical design fundamentals and techniques
for embedded systems, which is again a need of technological development in
the electronics industry.
The course imparts practical training along with necessary theoretical
background in Program and Software development using Oracle, C, C++,
VC,VB, Java etc which are very popular in the Software development
industries
.
Prospects for Higher Education/Career advancement: -
1. On completion of 3 year Diploma in Computer Engineering a
student qualifying in first division is eligible for admission to second
year of degree in Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering.)
2. A candidate is also eligible for courses like B.C.A. (Bachelor in
Computer Application), B.C.S.(Bachelor in Computer Science), offered
by the various recognised universities.
3. In case of a candidate passing with Second class, he / she could
get his/her degree in Engineering. through AMIE (Associate Membership
In Institute of Engineers) which can even be pursued as an evening /
part time basis.
4. The avenue is open even for higher studies abroad.
